Reflective Metallic Paint fused in between two layers of clear glass with "frosted" back surface. The same design can also be painted on top of the glass.

This design, is painted and fused inside two sheets of clear glass, It is available in total thickness of about 3/8 of an inch thick clear glass. The back surface of the tray can be "frosted" to create 3D impression from the design, since the frosted surface will create a "canvas" for the shadow of the painted image
